Visit Morrow Mountain's"new" high-tech local nature and culture museum opened in November 2010 at a cost of approximately $200,000. The museum is open all day Saturday and is located beside the park office.

Visit the Badin Museum complex located across from the Badin post office. The complex is open  from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, Saturday, February 19th for this event. The Museum Complex consist of the historic museum, a furnished quadruplex apartment circa 1915, and a Firehouse Museum housing a 1935 restored fire truck. A historic Boy and Girl Scout exhibit is on display.

Traveling from the museum to the Volunteer Fire Department for dinner, view the updating of Badin's downtown consisting of new paver-inserted sidewalks, a renovated town hall facade, and, on both sides of Falls Road, recently planted Crepe Myrtle trees.
